Perma-cote 327W is a water-based non-stick coating for molds and cores. It can also be used for chill. It’s suitable for casting gray and high-strength cast iron, as well as non-ferrous metals. The coating is a thick paste that is diluted with tap water.
Application
The coating is suitable for most binding systems, including: cold-box, cortical forms or furan process. Before use, the paste must be diluted with the required amount of water, depending on the method of coating:
- by brushing,
- by dipping (recommended viscosity: 12-15s 4 mm / DIN 53211),
- by spraying.
Before use, the coating must be thoroughly mixed.
Coated rods or molds must be air dried or baked (at 120° C).
Storage / Handling Precautions
Perma-cote 327W should be stored in a dry place at a temperature of 4-30⁰ C.
Important!
Coverage Perma-cote 327W should not freeze!
